Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a 13-week Travel RN position in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Idaho Falls, ID. The role requires a minimum of 2 years of RN experience, an active RN license, and certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS. Day shift with 12-hour hours and no weekends or on-call expected.

Floating to ICU/Med-Surg may be required. The unit uses Meditech EMR and typical patient ratios are 4:1 or 5:1; navy blue scrubs are required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Description:Travel RN position in a Progressive Care Unit.The shift is from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.This is a 13-week assignment with guaranteed hours.The unit has 36 beds and a staffing mix of RNs and PCTs.Day shift consists of 1 charge nurse, 9 RNs, and 5 PCTs.Night shift consists of 1 charge nurse, 9 RNs, and 4 PCTs.Typical patient ratios are 4:1 or 5:1.The unit is equipped with various medical equipment.EMR system used is Meditech.Candidates with prior experience titrating cardiac medications will be given priority.Typical procedures may include occasional paracentesis or thoracentesis.The best fit for this position is team-oriented.Floating may be required to ICU or Med-Surg.Dress code requires navy blue scrubs.No weekends or on-call requirements.
