Job summary

Job Description

Join our team at HRMC as a Registered Nurse in the Intermediate Care Unit (IMC). This community hospital is Joint Commission Accredited and offers an opportunity to work in a supportive environment with a diverse patient population, including adults and geriatrics. The unit has 30 beds and utilizes Medhost for electronic health records.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with various conditions, including STEMI, NSTEMI, CHF, COPD, Sepsis, and Acute Respiratory Failure.
• Monitor and assess patient health, administer medications, and implement care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Support patients and families with comfort measures and education regarding their care and treatment.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with hospital policies and regulations.
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergencies within the required time frame.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience.
• Travel experience preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current State RN License.
