Job summary

Havasu Regional Medical Center in Lake Havasu City, AZ is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) on a 13-week contract. The role covers three 12-hour night shifts per week (19:00–07:30) with weekend call requirements, in a Joint Commission Accredited community hospital.

You will provide comprehensive nursing care for adults and geriatrics, monitor patients, administer medications, and collaborate with the healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience.
• Travel experience preferred.
• Current State RN License.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with various conditions.
• Monitor and assess patient health, administer medications, and implement care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Support patients and families with comfort measures and education regarding their care and treatment.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with hospital policies and regulations.
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergencies within the required time frame.
