Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a travel Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) on the night shift in Littleton, CO. The unit has 45 beds with 90 staff members, and nurses support 4–5 patients per shift with a charge nurse coordinating the team.

Requirements include at least 2 years of acute care PCU experience, active RN license, and BLS/ACLS/NIH certifications. Prior Meditech and cardiac care exposure are preferred.

Description:This is a travel RN position in the Progressive Care Unit.The unit has 45 beds and approximately 90 staff members.Staffing includes a charge nurse and 9-10 RNs on both day and night shifts.The patient ratios are 4-5 patients per nurse during both shifts.Key equipment used includes lifts, dynamap, and cardiac monitoring equipment.The electronic medical record system used is Meditech.Candidates with cardiac and ICU experience are preferred.Prior experience with Meditech is a plus.Typical procedures performed on this unit include cardiac drips and catheter management.Chest tube management, wound care, and TPN/lipids are also common.The ideal candidate will be team-oriented with a positive attitude towards staff and providers.The unit has recently introduced new lift equipment and mobile technology.Self-scheduling options are available.This is a competitive market, and additional enticing features will help attract talent.
