Truman Medical Centers is seeking a Hospital Patient Throughput Optimization Leader (RN, BSN) to oversee admissions, discharges, transfers, and bed management across UH campuses. This PT night role requires strong leadership and data-driven decision making.

You will partner with nursing, admissions, finance, IT to remove bottlenecks, ensure regulatory compliance, and improve patient flow and care, supporting efficient resource use and patient-centered outcomes.

Qualifications

• BSN and active RN licensure required.
• Minimum 2+ years in acute care nursing with leadership experience.
• Excellent collaboration and communication across disciplines.
• Deep knowledge of UH patient care resources and throughput operations.

Responsabilités

• Direct and oversee patient throughput for timely placement and discharge.
• Lead hospital-wide bed management meetings.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (nursing, admissions, finance, IT) to remove bottlenecks.
• Monitor/system data to anticipate and resolve patient flow barriers.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and uphold patient-centered care.
• Utilize data systems to produce actionable reports and inform decisions.
• Support financial stewardship through efficient resource use.
