Job summary

MU Health Care is seeking a Throughput Coordinator RN for the Emergency Services department at University Hospital in Columbia, MO. The position includes a full-time weekend night schedule (6p-6a) on-site with shift differentials and bonus opportunities such as retention rewards and relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• Must hold Missouri RN license.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the scope of a Registered Nurse to meet patient needs.
• Ensure smooth patient flow and bed management in the unit.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed.
• Respond to clinical emergencies and communicate with providers and families.
• Conduct audits and participate in quality improvement.
