Job summary

Fairview Health Services in St. Paul, MN is seeking a part-time Patient Placement RN at the Midway Campus. This 0.7 FTE role offers day/evening shifts with 6:00 a.m., 7:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m., or 3:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• AS RN required; Bachelor or higher preferred.
• 3 years RN experience in hospital setting.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated critical thinking and teamwork.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize patient placement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient flow and placement across the health system.
• Prioritize transfers based on patient need and capacity.
• Oversee internal and external transfers (PACU, ED, procedural areas).
• Identify bed availability and apply admission criteria.
• Maintain system capacity and communicate with leadership.
