Job summary

North Memorial Health is seeking a Patient Flow Assistant for Maple Grove Hospital. This on-site role provides reception and clerical support, helping maintain center workflow and protect patient privacy while assisting staff, physicians and families.

Shifts are evenings (3 PM–11 PM) with a 56-hour biweekly schedule. Eligible for benefits for part-time and full-time colleagues, this position emphasizes teamwork, strong communication, and a commitment to infection control and quality customer

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years’ experience as a health unit coordinator, scheduling or registration in a hospital, clinic, or physician’s office.
• Strong communication skills, and ability to work with diverse teams.
• Ability to read, write and speak English effectively.

Responsibilities

• The Patient Flow Assistant provides continuous care support by performing reception and clerical activities.
• Maintains care center workflow for staff, physicians, customers and families.
• Supports infection prevention practices and patient privacy.
• Responds to customer alarms and aids communication among care providers.
