Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from an accredited School of Nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Bachelor's degree enrollment within 12 months of start date and completion within 4 years of start date, required.

Responsibilities

• Assesses plans, implements and evaluates nursing care from admission through discharge.
• Coordinates care with interdisciplinary team and supports patient/family education.
• Delivers relationship-based care using the nursing process to ensure quality and patient experience.
• Identifies and plans interventions for complex patient populations and safety concerns.
• Incorporates evidence-based practice and research into patient care delivery.
• Advocates for patients and communicates clinical concerns to the team in a timely manner.
• Ensures compliance with nurse practice act and ethical principles.
• Plans and communicates discharge needs and care with patients and families.
• Engages in continuous professional growth and participates in quality and service improvement.
