Job summary

Mercy is seeking an RN to provide direct patient care using the nursing process within a collaborative team. You will coordinate with other departments, maintain patient rights, and uphold confidentiality while delivering care aligned with Mercy Service Standards.

Graduation from an approved nursing program and an active RN license are required; BLS is mandatory, with ACLS/NRP/ENPC/TNCC and related certifications encouraged. Mercy offers strong benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support certification required or within 30 days of hire.
• Certifications include BLS, ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, PALS, PEARS, C-EFM, OCN, CPHON, and others as required.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for patient care for the assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with Mercy's mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
