Job summary

Mercy is seeking an experienced registered nurse to provide patient-centered care using the nursing process. You will maintain patient rights and confidentiality while coordinating care with other departments.

Responsibilities include evaluating care effectiveness and upholding Mercy Service Standards. RN licensure in the hiring state is required, with possible certification prerequisites depending on unit or position.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in hiring state or compact licensure per state requirements.
• Graduate of nursing program (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current BLS certification or within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS/NRP/ENPC/TNCC/CPHON/OCN/BLS/PALS/PEARS/C-EFM or other unit-specific certs may be required.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for care provided to assigned patients.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of care provided by direct caregivers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
