Job summary

Mercy in Colorado is seeking a registered nurse to provide direct patient care using the nursing process, maintain accountability, and evaluate the overall effectiveness of care delivered by teammates. You will coordinate patient care with other departments while upholding patient rights and confidentiality.

Education and licensure requirements are strict: graduation from an approved nursing program (ASN, Diploma, or BSN) and an active RN license in the hiring state or a compact license.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (ASN, Diploma, or BSN).
• Must obtain/maintain RN license in hiring state or compact licensure.
• BLS certification required or within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
