Job summary

Center for Disability Services is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for a patient‑focused role in our doctor’s office. This daytime, no-weekend position offers a work‑life balance within a supportive multidisciplinary team.

You will provide direct patient care, assist physicians, administer medications and vaccines, and participate in triage and education to improve community health outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in New York State is required.
• Strong clinical, communication, and assessment skills are required.
• Experience in outpatient or ambulatory care setting is preferred or willingness to train.
• Current CPR for Professional Rescuer Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including assessments, vitals, and clinical documentation.
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, and treatment plans.
• Administer medications and vaccinations.
• Conduct triage (phone or inOffice) and deliver patient education.
• Coordinate care with physicians, medical assistants, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and patient-centered environment.
• Support quality, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
