Job summary

The Center for Disability Services, Inc. is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our patient-focused doctor’s office in Albany, NY.

You will provide direct patient care, assist providers, and coordinate care within a collaborative multidisciplinary team, with daytime hours and no weekends or major holidays. We value an active NY RN license, strong clinical and communication skills, and experience in outpatient settings.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in New York State.
• Strong clinical, communication, and assessment skills.
• Experience in an outpatient or ambulatory care setting (or willingness to train).
• Current CPR for Professional Rescuer Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including assessments and vitals and clinical documentation.
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, and treatment plans.
• Administer medications and vaccinations.
• Triage patients by phone or in person and provide patient education.
• Coordinate care with physicians, medical assistants, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and patient-centered environment.
• Support quality, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
