Job summary
Grand Valley State University is seeking a RN Nursing Leader to serve as the primary operational leader for daily campus health clinic activities. You will coordinate patient care delivery, staff workflow, and clinic operations to ensure safe, timely, and student-centered care.
The role requires a BSN, MI RN license with BLS certification, and at least 3 years of ambulatory nursing experience, including 1 year in leadership.
Qualifications
- BNursing degree and RN licensure in Michigan (unrestricted).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- 3 years nursing experience in ambulatory/primary care settings.
- At least 1 year of clinical leadership or staff supervision experience.
- Knowledge of infection prevention, immunization, medication management, clinical safety, and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily clinical operations to support safe, timely, efficient, student-centered care.
- Coordinate patient flow, staffing, room assignments, and workflows with NP, MAs, staff, and medical director.
- Supervise clinical support staff including hiring, onboarding, scheduling, delegation, and performance coaching.
