Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health in Edison, NJ is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver direct patient care in a multidisciplinary team. The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, care coordination, and education for patients and families.

The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care, document outcomes, and participate in continuous improvement while meeting licensing requirements and pursuing a BSN within three years of hire.

Qualifications

• A minimum of an associate in Nursing or diploma of Nursing degree.
• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three years of hire.
• Six months of nursing experience OR active participation in Hackensack Meridian Health's Nurse Residency Program.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs with strong teamwork and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care per evidence-based policies and standards of care.
• Perform assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care.
• Coordinate care among nursing peers, physicians and support services.
• Document events and outcomes using Point-of-Care electronics and ensure patient education.
