Kleiman Evangelista Eye Centers is seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse for Mt Pleasant, TX. You will provide direct patient care in the surgical environment, monitor pre/postoperative status, and assist with equipment and inventory management.

The role emphasizes communication with the surgical team and protecting patient privacy. The ideal candidate holds a nursing degree and an active RN license (Colorado listed in posting), with ACLS within 90 days and BCLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Colorado.
• Current ACLS certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Current BCLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the surgical environment.
• Address psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment.
• Assist with PRE-OP/PACU equipment and inventory.
• Monitor patient’s physiological status in pre/postoperative settings.
• Communicate with surgeon and anesthesiologist about patient conditions.
• Demonstrate knowledge of airway management and equipment use.
• Carry out medical/surgical asepsis during treatments and procedures.
• Coordinate patient care and educate patient and family as needed.
• Protect patient privacy and sensitivities.
