UNC Health in Raleigh, NC is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide patient care across pre-procedure, procedural, and recovery areas. You will support safe, high-quality care, prioritize tasks, and collaborate with a fast-paced team.

One year of RN experience is preferred; NC RN licensure and BCLS are required. The Rex Pain Clinic unit focuses on coordinated patient flow and education, within UNC Rex Healthcare.

Qualifications

• Diploma, ADN or BSN from an accredited school of Nursing.

Responsabilités

• Maintains compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
• Demonstrates competence in patient care skills within the RN scope, including assessment, exams, procedures, meds, and education.
• Processes orders, returns patient calls, and notifies of diagnostic results as directed by the physician.
• Documents care provided in the patient’s medical record.
• Facilitates patient flow and assists with prioritization of work assignments.
• Maintains supplies and conducts safety checks on medical equipment.
• Adheres to ANA Code of Ethics and evidence-based nursing practices.
• Complies with safety and regulatory guidelines (HIPAA, OSHA, infection prevention). Participates in unit-based performance improvement.
• Demonstrates good customer service and effective communication with patients, families, and staff.
