Endocrine News is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time, on-site role with travel to Evanston, Glenbrook, and Highland Park Hospitals. Hours vary with call requirements including weeknights and weekends.
The position requires a state-approved nursing education, IL RN license, CPR/BLS, and typically 6 months of RN experience. BSN is preferred, and basic computer skills are expected. A competitive hourly pay range is offered with full benefits.
$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
Independently provides safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for all patient populations on a specific unit. Utilizes the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care. Includes patient and family in the plan of care as appropriate. Maintains regulatory compliance in individual practice. Assumes the responsibility, accountability, and authority for outcomes of nursing care and to make decisions based on their therapeutic relationship with the patient. Guides and directs assigned unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care. Communicates and collaborates with nurses, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
