Job summary

Endeavor Health in Highland Park, IL is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to provide compassionate care on a designated unit. The role requires flexible day shifts (2–10 hours) with occasional on-call responsibilities and the ability to travel to nearby hospitals as needed. You will use the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, collaborate with the healthcare team, and support patients and families. A state RN license and CPR-BLS are required; BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a state approved school of nursing is required.
• BSN preferred for the role.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for all patient populations on a specific unit using the nursing process.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate the patient plan of care with collaboration from the team.
• Involve patient and family in the care plan as appropriate.
• Maintain regulatory compliance in practice and ensure quality outcomes.
• Guide and direct unlicensed staff in delivering interdisciplinary care.
• Communicate with nurses, physicians, and the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.

Hourly Pay Range:

$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Position: Registered Nurse

• Location: Highland Park (ability to travel to Evanston, Glenbrook and Skokie Hospitals)

• Part Time

• Hours:2 - 10/hr Day shifts Mon - Fri including call requirements.

What you will do:

Independently provides safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for all patient populations on a specific unit.Utilizes the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care.Includes patient and family in the plan of care as appropriate.Maintains regulatory compliance in individual practice.Assumes the responsibility, accountability, and authority for outcomes of nursing care and to make decisions based on their therapeutic relationship with the patient.Guides and directs assigned unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care.Communicates and collaborates with nurses, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.

What you will need:

• Education:
  • Graduate of a state approved school of nursing required.BSN preferred.
• License/Certification:
  • IL RN License
  • CPR BLS issued by the American Heart Association
• Experience:
  • 6 mths RN experience in comparable role - Preferred
  • Basic Computer Skills
