Job summary

NorthShore University HealthSystem at Evanston Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive nursing care, utilize the nursing process, and ensure regulatory compliance within the unit.

This position is offered as full-time/part-time with 36 hours per week, Monday–Friday, with rotating weekends and multiple shift options to support patient care coverage.

Qualifications

• Education: BSN degree preferred.
• License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required.
• Certification: BLS/CPR certification required.
• Experience: 1 year experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to all patient populations in the department.
• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing and evaluating the patient plan of care.
• Maintain regulatory compliance in individual practice.
• Assume responsibility, accountability and authority for outcomes of nursing care.
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering patient care.
• Positively contribute to safety outcomes and promote a high‑quality patient experience.

Job description

Hourly Pay Range: $36.00 - $55.80 – The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

• Full Time/Part Time: 36 hr/wk
• Hours: Monday‑Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, 7:00 am - 7:30 pm, rotating weekends
• Required Travel: none
