The American Geriatrics Society is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide safe, compassionate care on a designated unit. Responsibilities include using the nursing process to plan and evaluate patient care and collaborating with the healthcare team to achieve optimal outcomes.
Qualifications include graduate of an approved nursing program, IL RN license, CPR/BLS, and 6 months RN experience preferred. Some travel to Evanston, Glenbrook, and Highland Park Hospitals may be required.
$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
Independently provides safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for all patient populations on a specific unit. Utilizes the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care. Includes patient and family in the plan of care as appropriate. Maintains regulatory compliance in individual practice. Assumes the responsibility, accountability, and authority for outcomes of nursing care and to make decisions based on their therapeutic relationship with the patient. Guides and directs assigned unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care. Communicates and collaborates with nurses, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
