Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a Travel PACU RN for a 13-week assignment in Boston, MA. You will provide specialized post-anesthesia care, monitor recovery, and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe discharges.

The role requires 1 year PACU experience, an active RN license, and current BLS and ACLS certifications. Preferred certifications such as PALS/ENPC may be considered. Competitive pay and benefits are offered for travel nurses.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a PACU RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess post-anesthesia patients and monitor recovery.
• Administer medications and treatments per PACU protocols.
• Document assessments and interventions in medical records.
• Collaborate with surgical team and coordinate discharges.
• Respond to emergencies using PACU standards.
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care.
