Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Staff Registered Nurse (RN) to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process. The role includes supervising co-workers and delegating tasks to support safe, effective patient care.

Shifts run 8:30 AM–6:00 PM, four 9-hour shifts per week, with weekend call one day every six weeks (Saturday or Sunday) and 4–5 night calls in the same six-week period. Ohio licensure and CPR are required; prior RN experience is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Completion of an accredited nursing program leading to a Diploma, Associate, or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
  • Valid license to practice in the State of Ohio.
  • CPR certification required.
  • Previous Registered Nursing experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients according to the nursing process.
  • Provide quality care based on assessment needs and established plans of care.
  • Educate patients and their families from admission through the discharge process.
  • Document the nursing process/pathway accurately, thoroughly, and legibly.
  • Notify physicians of pertinent observations and changes in patient status.
  • Administer medications and perform treatments safely and accurately.
  • Implement physician orders as prescribed.
  • Ensure equipment and supplies are available for patient care.
