Memorial Hermann Surgery Center Kingsland is seeking a motivated PRN RN PACU to join our team. This fast-paced ASC environment emphasizes high-quality patient care and safety.

The PACU nurse will implement physician orders, ensure continuity of nursing care, and assist with sedation and sterile techniques as needed. The role requires at least 2 years in PACU/ICU, active TX RN license, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Currently licensed in the state.
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in PACU or ICU.

Responsibilities

• Implement physician orders and provide continuous nursing care with a focus on safety, comfort and privacy.
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms with tasks, conscious sedation and sterile technique as needed.
• Provide comprehensive care for patients emerging from anesthesia or sedation.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for patients and families toward discharge.

Memorial Hermann Surgery Center Kingsland is seeking a motivated PRNRN PACU to join our team. Memorial Hermann Memorial Surgery Center Kingsland is a fast-paced ASC environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families.

• Monday to Friday work schedule
• Open two Saturday's a month; must work at least one Saturday a month.
• NO CALL required
• Off most holidays.

Job Summary:

Under the direct supervision of the Pre-Op/PACU manager, the PACU nurse is responsible for implementing all physician orders, providing for the continuity and quality of nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patients'' condition, providing patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times. At times, assist the physicians in the procedure rooms with various tasks, conscious sedation and utilizing sterile technique as deemed appropriate.

Responsible for providing total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation.

Responsible for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge.

Qualifications:
