Job summary

The Memorial Hermann Surgery Center Park Ten in Houston, TX is seeking a PRN RN for PreOp/PACU to provide high-quality perioperative care for diverse patient populations. You will use the nursing process and follow the medical plan of care to ensure safe, patient-family centered care in a fast-paced ASC setting.

Requirements include Texas RN licensure, CPR/ACLS/PALS, and a minimum of 2 years hospital experience. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential to support our surgical patients.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Texas with current licensure.
• Current CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum 2 years of hospital experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt to change and manage perioperative care.
• Knowledge of aseptic technique.
• Cares for patients from infancy to geriatrics.

Job Summary:

The RN PreOp/PACU is a Registered Nurse that provides quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies. The RN PreOp/PACU provides safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the perioperative services for all patient populations. The RN PreOp/PACU supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization.

Required Skills:

• Current Texas Nursing License
• Current CPR, ACLS, and PALS
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Minimum 2 year experience in a hospital setting
• Ability to recognize, evaluate, solve problems and correct errors
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, hospital staff, physicians, vendors and the public
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Demonstrates accountability, professionalism, openness, receptive to change, creativity and innovative
