Cynet Health is seeking a traveling RN for a PACU assignment. This 13-week travel position requires a Day shift with 10-hour shifts, and an active RN license. Candidates must have prior Pre-op and Post-op experience and hold PALS, ACLS, and BLS certifications.
The unit has 14 beds with 2-3:1 Post-op and 1-2:1 Pre-op patient ratios. The traveler will float within Surgical Services as needed per policy and will not serve as an OR circulator.

Description:Traveler shall be scheduled in accordance with facility policy.The expectation is to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.This position is for pre-operative and post-operative care, not an OR Circulator.Candidates must have experience in both Pre-op and Post-op settings.1+ years of experience is acceptable.The unit has 14 beds with patient ratios of 2-3:1 in Post-op and 1-2:1 in Pre-op, based on patient acuity.Unit staffing includes 1 full-time PCT.Equipment used includes bladder scanner, vein finder, and EKG machine.The documentation system utilized is Meditech.Scheduling requirements are from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM with on-call duties.Floating within Surgical Services may occur as needed, following facility policy.Advanced skills are not required for this position.Procedures performed in this unit include IV starts, administering basic IV infusions, Foley insertion, and EKG monitoring.Dress code requires ceil blue scrub top and bottom.This facility maintains a high level of involvement in community health education through health fairs and no-cost screenings.Recognition for quality patient care includes several nationally-recognized accreditations and awards.The work environment is characterized as friendly and positive.Employees report excellent teamwork and professionalism from administrative staff.Additional local attractions include Southern Heritage Bar-B-Que, known for its great barbecue food.Dublin also hosts Irish festivals and various cultural events annually.
