Job summary

Cynet Health seeks an experienced RN for a 13-week PACU assignment in an outpatient surgical unit. You will admit and discharge patients, perform post-anesthesia care, and provide comprehensive bedside assessments and education. Strong IV skills, clear communication, and multitasking are essential, with ability to take call in a rural outpatient setting.

The unit serves patients 16+ in a 17-patient daily capacity. Travel readiness and reliable transportation are preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications.
• Minimum 2 years of Same Day Surgery, PACU, or ICU experience.
• Experience in admitting and discharging patients.

Responsibilities

• Admit and discharge surgical patients in outpatient unit.

Description:This position is in an outpatient surgical unit.The RN will be responsible for the admission and discharge of surgical patients.They will conduct nursing admission assessments and provide Phase I and Phase II post-anesthesia care.Strong assessment, IV skills, and patient education abilities are essential.Multitasking and effective communication with all team members are critical.Candidates should have experience in a rural or outpatient facility.Experience in preparing the operating room for surgery (pre-op) is required, in addition to preparing patients.Patients ages 16 and older will be cared for.The unit can accommodate up to 17 patients per day across an 8-bay setup.The RN may need to step into the operating room to assist as needed.Travel experience is preferred.Requests for time off must be noted prior to submission and cannot exceed 5 days.Scheduling requests will be strictly adhered to at the time of submission.Candidates must have their own vehicle for transportation as public transport is not available in the area.Please provide a detailed work history and skills checklist with the application.
