Cynet Health is seeking a qualified RN to join the PACU in a fast-paced surgical department for a six-week contract.
Required are 2+ years in PACU, an active RN license, and BLS/ACLS/PALS. The nurse will float between facilities, cover Phase 2 when needed, assist with IV starts, and learn EKGs and nerve blocks.

Description:This position involves working in a small department with a focus on pre-operative patients.The nurse will float between facilities as needed.Candidates must not have been employed by any affiliated facility within the past year.The role requires passing a Dysrhythmia assessment and candidates will have three attempts to succeed.Call outs are strongly discouraged and could lead to termination.The nurse may be required to precept as necessary.Patient ratios can vary with up to 30 cases per day among different procedures.Common diagnoses include various surgical procedures, endoscopy, and robotic surgeries.A charge nurse is present to assist and also takes patient assignments.The unit does not have nurse aides available.Shifts are Monday through Friday, with one weekend commitment per month.Weekend call shifts may extend to 24 hours.The response time for call is 30 minutes.Experience with technology such as MEDITECH is preferred.No trauma cases are typically handled in this setting.Navy blue scrubs are the designated attire for this position.This is a fast-paced environment that welcomes first-time travelers and offers opportunities for learning and growth.
