Job summary

Deborah Heart and Lung Center in New Jersey seeks a registered nurse to coordinate the pacemaker clinic, including device interrogation in ambulatory care, during hospital stays and implants.

You will educate patients, perform wound management, participate in remote device monitoring/interpretation, and follow-up, with opportunities to participate in research and cross-train in the EP Laboratory.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years cardiac/critical care nursing experience required.
• Cath lab or EPS lab experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the pacemaker clinic and device interrogation in ambulatory care, during hospital stays and device implants.
• Patient education, wound management, remote device monitoring/interpretation, and follow-up.
• Participate in research and cross-train in the EP Laboratory.

Job description

Position Summary: In collaboration with the department manager, coordinate the pacemaker clinic, to include interrogation of implantable devices in the ambulatory care setting, during hospital stay and device implants; patient education, device interrogation, wound management, remote device monitoring/interpretation, and follow-up; participate in research and cross train in the EP Laboratory.

Experience: 1 to 3 years cardiac/Critical Care nursing experience required. Cath lab or EPS lab experience preferred.

Education: Minimum Associates Degree in Nursing with valid NJ RN Licensure required.

Other Required License/Credentials/Skills: ACLS and BLS, IV certification, arrhythmia certification required. RCES preferred.

Bi-Weekly Hours: 60

Work Schedule: M - F

The minimum starting rate for this position is $40.67
