Deborah Heart and Lung Center is seeking a healthcare professional to assist physicians and staff in diagnostic and interventional cardiac/endovascular procedures. You will educate and support patients during procedures, applying pathophysiology knowledge to ensure safety and comfort, with a strong emphasis on critical care readiness for emergencies.

Position Summary:

Assist physicians and allied healthcare staff in performing a variety of diagnostic and interventional cardiac/endovascular procedures. Utilizes knowledge of pathophysiology to ensure patients are prepared/educated/supported during procedures. A strong critical care experience to recognize/handle emergency situations. On Call availability is required.

Experience:

Required: 1-3 years Critical Care experience and or Cath Lab experience. BLS and ACLS. EKG interpretation.

Education:

Diploma/Associates degree required. BSN is preferred.

License and Credentials:

NJ RN license required.CCRN or RCIS is preferred.

Skills:

Required: IV certification, excellent communication/interpersonal skills, flexibility, diplomacy, tact, foresight. Performs well in high stress, fast paced environment.

Bi-Weekly Hours:

80 hours

The minimum starting rate for this position is $47.08
