Job summary

Deborah is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to assist physicians and cardiovascular teams in diagnostic and interventional cardiac/endovascular procedures. You will prepare patients, educate them, and respond to emergencies with critical-care skills. On-call availability is required.

Candidates need 1–3 years in Critical Care or Cath Lab, BLS/ACLS, and EKG interpretation, with an NJ RN license. CCRN or RCIS is preferred and BSN is advantageous.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years Critical Care experience and/or Cath Lab experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• EKG interpretation.
• NJ RN license required; CCRN or RCIS preferred.
• On-call availability required.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and staff during diagnostic and interventional cardiac/endovascular procedures.
• Prepare patients, educate, and support during procedures.
• Manage emergencies with critical care experience.
• On-call duties as required.

Job description

Position Summary: Assist physicians and allied healthcare staff in performing a variety of diagnostic and interventional cardiac/endovascular procedures. Utilizes knowledge of pathophysiology to ensure patients are prepared/educated/supported during procedures. A strong critical care experience to recognize/handle emergency situations. On Call availability is required.

Experience:

Required: 1-3 years Critical Care experience and or Cath Lab experience. BLS and ACLS. EKG interpretation.

Education:Diploma/Associates degree required. BSN is preferred.

License and Credentials:NJ RN license required.CCRN or RCIS is preferred.

Skills:

Required: IV certification, excellent communication/interpersonal skills, flexibility, diplomacy, tact, foresight. Performs well in high stress, fast paced environment.

Bi-Weekly Hours: 80 hours

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:30am - 6pm, varying start times depending on department needs, four 10 hours shifts plus on call.

The minimum starting rate for this position is $47.08
