Job summary

You will care for med/surg/telemetry patients and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care across the continuum. BSN required; 1 year RN experience preferred; Virginia license eligible. Inova is a leading nonprofit provider recognized for safety and quality.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse clinical experience.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in Virginia as a Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive patient health assessments and interprets data to inform care.
• Formulates individualized plans of care based on assessment findings.
• Delivers patient-centered care and coordinates with the healthcare team.
• Advocates for patient rights and provides clinical guidance to staff.
• Coordinates care across disciplines to plan transitions and resources.
• Documents care activities per standards and supports quality improvement initiatives.
• Engages in ongoing professional development with at least six hours of continuing education.
• Collaborates with team to ensure safe, effective care delivery.
