Job summary

Inova Fairfax Medical Campus is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Overflow Unit. This is a full-time, day-shift role with 12-hour days (7am–7pm). A sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are eligible.

The Overflow Unit serves med/surg/telemetry patients with pulmonary, renal, diabetes, and hypertension diagnoses. You will provide safe, patient-centered care and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate effective outcomes.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• Minimum 1 year of RN clinical experience.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association (AHA).
• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse in Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive patient health assessments and interprets data to inform care.
• Formulates individualized plans of care based on assessments.
• Provides patient- and family-centered care and coordinates with the healthcare team.

Education

BSN from an accredited school of nursing

RN with ADN must complete BSN within 5 years
