Campbell County Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Infusion Center in Gillette, WY. You will deliver professional nursing care, administer IV therapies, assess patients, document histories, and collaborate with the healthcare team to implement individualized care plans.

The role requires completion of an accredited nursing program and Wyoming RN licensure (or eligibility). CPR certification is required per policy, with opportunities for professional growth within a comprehensive

Responsibilities

• Performs patient assessment and documents in patient record.

• Participates in CQI teams and Quality Improvement Program.
• Maintains a clean and safe environment.
• May work on other nursing units as distribution of staff and patients.

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers professional nursing care to patients in the Infusion Center, ensuring safe and effective administration of intravenous and related therapies. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, obtaining and documenting medical histories, performing diagnostic procedures, and collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.

The RN administers prescribed treatments, including intravenous medications and other infusion therapies, and determines appropriate venipuncture or catheter sites. The role involves closely monitoring patient responses to treatment, documenting observations in the medical record, and providing education to patients and their families regarding procedures and care.

Essential Functions

• Performs patient assessment and documents in patient record.
• Develops an age-appropriate plan of care, which addresses physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs, in collaboration with other members of the health care team.
• Implements the plan of care, delegates appropriately and ensures documentation of interventions.
• Evaluates progress towards desired outcomes, revises plan of care and intervenes as necessary.
• Educates patient and families regarding current health status, plan of care, and anticipated outcomes.
• Provides service excellence to all customers.
• Maintains professional standards related to clinical practice, staffing and continuing education.
• Practices fiscal responsibility and accountability.
• Actively participates in hospital committees, CQI teams, and Quality Improvement Program.
• Maintains a clean and safe environment.
• May be required to work on other nursing units according to distribution of staff and patients.
• Complies with the hospital’s Corporate Compliance Program including, but not limited to, the Code of Conduct, laws and regulations, and hospital policies and procedures.
• Must be free from governmental sanctions involving health care and/or financial practices.

Job Qualifications

• Education

• Licensure
