Job summary

The RN OP burn, wound, and hyperbaric clinical nurse at WellStar provides specialized care for burn and wound patients in a demanding day shift. Working with an interdisciplinary team, you assess, plan, and deliver high-quality treatments under the supervision of nursing leadership.

You will perform essential nursing duties, participate in performance improvement, and support patient safety and family education while following WellStar policies and standards.

Qualifications

• Associates or diploma in nursing; bachelor's preferred.
• RN license required (single-state or compact).
• BLS, ACLS, ABLS, PALS certifications required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide burn, wound and HBO patient care during day shift.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team and ensure safety.
• Document care and participate in governance and quality initiatives.
• Support performance improvement and evidence-based practice.
• Mentor staff and ensure compliance with policies.
