Job summary

Wellstar Health System seeks a Registered Nurse to join the Burn, Wound, and Hyperbaric unit. The RN provides high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced clinical setting, under the direction of the Nurse Manager and leaders.

Strong collaboration with the Hyperbaric Tech is expected during emergencies and routine assessments. The role emphasizes safety, evidence-based practice, and adherence to WellStar standards.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Nursing or Diploma; Bachelors degree preferred.
• BLS, RN license, ACLS, ABLS, PALS certifications required on hire.
• Minimum 2 years nursing experience in ambulatory or acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Uses Nursing Process for Burn, Wound and HBO patients with evidence-based practice.
• Provide patient-centered care adapting to diverse populations.
• Coordinate care and documentation with the interdisciplinary team.
• Perform ordered treatments and emergency procedures per policy.
• Support performance improvement and governance at all levels.
