Job summary

WellStar Health System is seeking an RN for burn, wound, and hyperbaric care in a day shift setting. You will be an integral member of an interdisciplinary team, delivering high-quality, individualized patient care under supervision of nurse leaders.

The role requires strong clinical competency in wound care, HBO therapy, and emergency response, with a focus on safety, documentation, and collaborative practice within WellStar’s governance model.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing or Bachelors in Nursing (preferred).
• All certifications are required upon hire.
• RN license (Single State) or Compact license.
• ACLS/ABLS/PALS/BLS certifications required or obtainable on hire.
• Minimum 2 years nursing experience in ambulatory or acute care settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform the Nursing Process for Burn, Wound and HBO patients throughout the shift.
• Provide patient-centered care with safety and quality focus.
• Coordinate care through interdisciplinary teamwork and documentation.
• Assist Hyperbaric Tech during emergencies and risk assessments.
• Uphold policies and participate in continuous improvement and governance.
