Job summary

Logan Health in Kalispell, MT, seeks a compassionate, self-directed RN to support patients at our Breast Center and Plastic Surgery Clinics. The role shares time between two clinics within Logan Health Medical Center, providing education, care coordination, and follow-up before and after surgery.

You\'ll work closely with nurse practitioners, surgeons, and clinic staff, delivering pre/postoperative guidance, triaging calls, and coordinating scheduling for local and traveling patients.

Qualifications

• Current Montana RN license or multi-state compact license.
• BSN degree preferred.
• RQI Provider (BLS) within seven days of hire/transfer.
• Minimum of two years' nursing experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide preoperative and postoperative education, guiding preparation and recovery.
• Teach patients how to manage surgical drains and follow postoperative protocols.
• Follow up with patients before and after surgery to answer questions and relay concerns to the care team.
• Triage patient calls and coordinate with providers for timely care.
• Coordinate care for local and traveling patients, including scheduling assistance as needed.
• Assist with referrals and patient rooming and vital signs as required.
