Job summary

Logan Health is seeking an empathetic Registered Nurse to join our Hematology/Oncology team in Kalispell, MT. You will support outpatient clinic patients, educate on treatments, coordinate infusions and symptom support, and collaborate with the medical team to ensure quality care.

Ideal candidates have Montana RN licensure and strong communication skills, with oncology experience preferred. This full-time role involves day shifts and coordinating care across related services in the region.

Qualifications

• Current Montana RN License or multi-state compact license valid in Montana.
• BSN degree preferred.
• Oncology experience preferred, but not required.
• RQI Provider (BLS) certification within seven days of hire or before independent patient care.
• Minimum of two years’ nursing experience preferred.
• Demonstrated empathy, integrity, kindness and professionalism.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for patient needs in the outpatient Hematology/Oncology clinic.
• Provide education to new patients initiating chemotherapy or other treatments.
• Coordinate infusion scheduling and treatment-related planning.
• Offer symptom support and field calls to the symptom support clinic.
• Schedule and conduct in-person visits for education and symptom management with medical providers.
• Assist in coordination of care for patients needing services in other locations.
