Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System in Boise, Idaho, is hiring an RN for the Orthopedic Joint Spine Trauma Unit 9C. This 32-bed unit handles high-acuity trauma cases with opportunities for growth across ER and Critical Care.

Full-time, three 12-hour day shifts (7am–7pm) with rotating weekends. The unit uses Together Care Team Model including Virtual RNs, bedside RNs, and CNAs to support collaborative patient care and professional development.

Qualifications

• A current RN license is required.
• Multistate licenses must establish residency with the Idaho Board of Nursing within 60 days from hire.
• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required. ACLS and/or PALS may be accepted in lieu of BLS.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care in collaboration with the health care team in ongoing assessment, planning and treatment of patients and families.
• Promotes physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being while using resources wisely.
• Performs delegation, assessment, planning of care and treatment, and education of patients and families.
