Job summary

Endeavor Health in Naperville is seeking an RN for the Ortho/Spine Unit on a per diem basis. The days shift runs 7:00am–7:30pm with rotating weekends and holidays.

You will provide professional nursing care in line with state practice acts and hospital policies. Requirements include 1+ year inpatient RN experience, an ADN or BSN, Illinois RN licensure, and CPR certification. You’ll join a collaborative team delivering high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Requires 1+ years' of RN experience in an inpatient unit setting.
• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Nursing.
• If Associate Degree in Nursing is the highest degree held, must graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing within five years of position start date.
• Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure.
• Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care in accordance with the Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
• Assesses patients’ condition, recognizes changes, plans and evaluates care.
• Delegates appropriate patient care tasks to other staff.
• Functions as a team member to fulfill unit goals.
