Nebraska Methodist Health System is seeking an experienced RN for the night shift at Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs, IA. The role focuses on delivering high-quality nursing care with rotating weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program required.
• Current RN license in a compact multistate system.
• ACLS/PALS and BLS preferred or required within 3 months of hire.
• Telemetry/Cardiac Rhythm training within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care aligned to age and population-specific criteria.
• Perform initial and ongoing assessments to determine care needs.
• Develop and revise the plan of care with the care team.
• Implement interventions safely per plan and standard protocols.
• Evaluate patient response and document outcomes; communicate changes on shift.

Accredited nursing program

RN license (compact multistate)

Licensure & mandatory education

Telemetry/Cardiac Rhythm training

NIH Stroke Scale training (within 3 months)

BLS/ACLS/PALS (preferred)
