Job summary

Shasta Regional Medical Center, a member of Prime Healthcare, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to deliver safe patient care in the Ortho/Neuro Unit. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care, and communicate with physicians about changes in condition.

The role requires an active state RN license, BLS/ACLS certifications, and preferred BSN with ventilator management experience. Night shifts with competitive compensation and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process.
• Direct patient care within scope of practice.
• Guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing staff.
• Communicate changes in patient condition with physicians.
