Shasta Regional Medical Center in Redding, CA is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to deliver safe patient care in the Ortho/Neuro Unit. Join an award-winning team committed to quality, compassion and community.

You will apply the nursing process, collaborate with physicians, guide patient/family education, and uphold standards of care. Active RN license, BLS, ACLS required; BSN preferred; acute care experience preferred. Full-time days shift with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsabilités

• The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice.
• Directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care within the Ortho/Neuro Unit.
• Communicates with physician about changes in the patient’s condition including monitoring and test results.
• Remains able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.
