Job summary

Carolinas Medical Center is seeking a skilled RN for the Med Surg 10A unit in Charlotte, NC. This part-time role (24 hours per week) involves 12-hour shifts, with a sign-on bonus available for eligible applicants.

The 10A telemetry unit provides 24-hour care for adults, including vented patients and complex medical/surgical conditions. Requirements include an accredited nursing program completion, an active RN license in North Carolina, BLS certification, and at least 6 months of RN experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• 6 months of RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process.
• Deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience.
