Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System in Boise, Idaho is hiring an RN (Registered Nurse) for the Orthopedic Joint Spine Trauma Unit 9C. This 32-bed unit cares for high-acuity trauma patients with growth opportunities within the Together Care Team Model.

The role offers a full-time night shift (three 12-hour shifts per week, 7 to 7, rotating weekends) in a collaborative setting with Virtual RNs, bedside RNs, and CNAs to support ongoing learning and career advancement.

Qualifications

• Current RN license is required.
• Multistate licenses must establish residency with the Idaho Board of Nursing within 60 days from hire.
• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required (ACLS/PALS may be accepted in lieu of BLS).

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care in collaboration with the health care team for ongoing assessment, planning, and treatment of patients and families.
• Promotes the patient’s physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being while using resources wisely.
• Performs delegation, assessment, care planning and patient/family teaching as part of a broad range of responsibilities.
