Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Ortho Medical/Surgical Unit in Nampa. The role offers 36-bed capacity with care for medical, surgical, and orthopedic patients, including wound care and minor trauma.

Self Schedule: two 12-hour night shifts per week, 7 to 7 with rotating weekends, within a collaborative Together Care Team model. The unit emphasizes professional growth into ER and Critical Care areas and fosters teamwork with Virtual RNs, bedside

Qualifications

• Licensed in Idaho as a Registered Nurse.
• Multistate licenses must establish residency in Idaho within 60 days of hire.
• BLS certification required at hire (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
• ACLS and/or PALS may be accepted in lieu of BLS.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in collaboration with the health care team.
• Assess, plan and treat patients and families, supporting physical, spiritual and emotional well-being.
• Delegate, assess, plan care and provide patient education to patients and families.
