Corewell Health's Greenville Hospital is seeking a dedicated nurse (RN or LPN) for night shift from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m., every other weekend, delivering compassionate care in a recovery-focused unit.

The role emphasizes assessment, planning, and execution of individualized nursing care, adherence to ANA standards, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. A valid MI RN license or LPN license and BLS are required or will be obtained within 90 days.

Qualifications

• RN or LPN required with state licensure.
• BLS certification due within 90 days of start.
• MI license with nursing scope as applicable.

About the unit

Our Rehabilitation and Nursing Center offers short-term rehabilitation after surgery, serious injury or illness. We help patients with many different medical needs and conditions, including neuro recovery and treatment following stroke and brain injury; rehabilitation after elective total joint surgery or complex orthopedic surgery; reconditioning following severe illness; post-cardiac and medically complex care; and rehabilitation for general needs.

Scope of work

Delivers nursing care responsibly and accountably as described professionally by the American Nurses Association (ANA) and legally by the State of Michigan. Demonstrates competency through the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. This includes assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Upholds the standards of professional performance as described by the ANA. This includes ethical practice, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice and research, quality of practice, professional practice evaluation, resource utilization and environmental health. Strives to achieve optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

RN required

- Associates in Nursing
- MI Registered Nurse (RN)
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS)within 90 days

LPN required

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- MI License Practical Nursing (LPN)
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days
