Corewell Health’s Greenville Hospital is seeking a compassionate RN/LPN for a part-time night shift in Greenville, MI. The role involves delivering nursing care under ANA standards, with a focus on critical thinking, collaboration and patient-centered outcomes. Hours are 11 p.m.

to 7 a.m. every other Saturday and Sunday, totaling 24 hours weekly. Candidates must have an Associate Degree in Nursing, MI RN or LPN license, and BLS within 90 days, with comprehensive benefits and supportive on-site

About the unit

Our Rehabilitation and Nursing Center offers short-term rehabilitation after surgery, serious injury or illness. We help patients with many different medical needs and conditions, including neuro recovery and treatment following stroke and brain injury; rehabilitation after elective total joint surgery or complex orthopedic surgery; reconditioning following severe illness; post-cardiac and medically complex care; and rehabilitation for general needs.

Scope of work

Delivers nursing care responsibly and accountably as described professionally by the American Nurses Association (ANA) and legally by the State of Michigan. Demonstrates competency through the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. This includes assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Upholds the standards of professional performance as described by the ANA. This includes ethical practice, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice and research, quality of practice, professional practice evaluation, resource utilization and environmental health. Strives to achieve optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

RN required

• Associates in Nursing
• MI Registered Nurse (RN)
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days

LPN required

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• MI License Practical Nursing (LPN)
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days
